What are the Additions?

Catholic Bibles include three additions to Daniel: the Prayer of Azariah and the Song of the Three Young Men (within ch. 3), Susanna (ch. 13), and Bel and the Dragon (ch. 14). These are part of the Catholic canon, while most Protestant Bibles omit them or place them in an Apocrypha section ^{[1] [2]}.

Where to Read in DRB Numbering

In the Douay-Rheims tradition (following the Vulgate order), the Prayer of Azariah and the Song appear at Daniel 3:24–90; Susanna is presented as Daniel 13; and Bel and the Dragon as Daniel 14 ^{[3] [4] [5]}.
