Revelation
Revelation
Revelation is apocalyptic prophecy in letter form: symbolic visions unveil God’s perspective on history and empire, centering the slain Lamb. Its imagery—beasts, seals, trumpets, a radiant city—draws on Israel’s prophets to unmask idolatry and sustain endurance. Rather than a code to crack, Revelation is pastoral resistance literature: worship and witness amid pressure. For communities then and now, it reframes fear with hope, promising new creation, judgment that heals, and God with his people.
